When I wake up in the morning I want to always thank God for the new day in front of me, somedays I remember, somedays I can barely find my way. I desire to be an example to my children of the life Christ has called us all to.
I find that I can go about my day praying throughout, as I wash the dishes, as I fold the laundry, as I sweep the floors and care for my children. Although some days the life of a nun sounds much more saintly, and frankly, sometimes easier; I strive to live life to the fullest in my domestic church.
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
We are all called to be saints, step by step, stubble by stubble, for the love of God. We are called to live differently and to love differently, to be Christ’s hands, and his feet, to put legs on the Gospel. Challenging? Yes. Impossible? No.
